Hydraulic oil brake hoses are made up of multiple layers to provide strength, flexibility, and protection against the harsh conditions present in the braking system. The innermost layer, known as the inner tube, is designed to be compatible with the hydraulic fluid used in the brake system and prevent leaks. Surrounding the inner tube is a reinforcement layer, usually made of high-strength materials like steel wire or synthetic fibers, to withstand the high pressure generated when the brakes are applied. On top of the reinforcement layer, there is an outer cover that protects the hose from external elements such as abrasion, heat, and weathering. This outer cover is usually made of synthetic rubber or thermoplastic material resistant to oil, ozone, and other environmental factors.
